Although nursing is very rewarding job, it is also very demanding. Nurses help to save lives and everyone knows that we cannot put a value on this service. Nevertheless, their work is not always rewarded with high salaries or recognized by the society they live in. In my opinion, people who want to be nurses do so not only to make a living, but because they feel a desire to help others. Generally, those who choose a career in nursing do so through personal choice. I am sure my family would support me if I want to make this choice.
On one hand the advantages of being a nurse are numerous, first the nurse help doctor in the work, they help to give test to find out why people are sick. Also they help illness people to change clothes and bed, they help with medical tests, give medicines, and dress wounds .Also nurse teach people how to take care of themselves. Also this is professional job so you can get good salary.
On the other hand there are some disadvantages of being a nurse such as, shift work which is not allowed for women in my country and it’s not allowed for woman mixing with men .Also it’s difficult to study and there are a lot of medical words to learn, so we can’t get the certificate easily. Also some people don’t like blood and feel scared and worried and it’s hard work to clean patients and change clothes and take them to the bathroom, so some of nurses don’t help patients carefully.
Another disadvantage that is some nurses reveal the secret of the patient and give the sick people the wrong medicine by mistake.
Finally In my opinion it’s a good job for people who want to help others and makes the world happy without disease .Also I suggest my country to build special places for woman and I suggest nurses to care for patients because they need 24 hours care.
